Baseball Recap: Cascade's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After flying high against Marion County last Thursday, Cascade came back down to earth. Cascade fell just short of the Spring Hill Raiders by a score of 8-6 on Friday. The loss was the Champions' first of the season.

Cascade saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayce Cagle, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cascade fell to 4-1. As for Spring Hill, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Cascade will face off against Moore County at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Spring Hill, they will square off against Central Magnet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
