Softball Recap: Jim Thorpe Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Jim Thorpe's offense. They came up short against the Southern Lehigh Spartans on Monday, falling 15-0. The Olympians just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Jim Thorpe's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Southern Lehigh, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Jim Thorpe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Northwestern Lehigh on the 22nd. As for Southern Lehigh, they will be playing at home against Bangor at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
