Basketball Recap: Bremond's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bremond had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 48-24 margin over the Somerville Yeguas. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 51-50 win the Yeguas walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Rhett Olson was a one-man wrecking crew for Bremond as he almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Morehead, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 11 points.

Bremond smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

Bremond now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Somerville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bremond Tigers take on the Burton Panthers at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Somerville, they will head out to square off against Mumford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
