After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Garey finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Walnut Mustangs and fell 83-23. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Anferny Yom was Garey's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Keivon Chatman held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Garey now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Walnut, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Garey won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Torres at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
