Soccer Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland fell victim to Millikan and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 4-0 to the Millikan Rams. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 80th in Arizona, while the Rams are ranked 14th in California).

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Millikan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Highland wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Casteel on the 11th. As for Millikan, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Huntington Beach on the 7th.
