Soccer Recap: Windermere Prep Takes a Loss

Windermere Prep's game on Monday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lakers of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2019.

Alyssa Parsons and Sasha Campbell scored all three of Windermere Prep's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Windermere Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-3. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2-1.

Windermere Prep will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trinity Prep at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Satellite on the 10th.
