Tyler Anderson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 195 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023. Another rusher making a difference was Lennix Talbot, who rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown.
Legacy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 309 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Isaiah Watson and Canaan Barthlow certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Watson picked up 146 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Barthlow threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns. Watson really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 78 yards.
Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.
