After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Henry County finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Taylor County Cardinals, falling 18-2. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Henry County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Baylor Nolin, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Nolan Prather also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Henry County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Taylor County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Coincidentally, Henry County and Taylor County will both be playing Butler County the next time they take the field. The Cardinals will head out to face the Bears on Thursday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
