Volleyball Recap: Harper Creek's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Harper Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeview Spartans. The Beavers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15.

Camille Robinson paced Harper Creek's offense, picking up ten kills. Robinson got some help from Andersyn King and her 13 assists. Avery Carpenter controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Harper Creek's loss dropped their record down to 22-15. As for Lakeview, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-7-5 record this season.

Harper Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Pennfield on the 18th. Hopefully Lakeview paid attention to the Beavers' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Beavers at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
