Fans got a thrill when Redmond Delmar and Keanu Mitchell connected against Shiprock. The longest such play in IV Section I this season, the connection resulted in 68 yards.

Ganado took down Red Mesa 74-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Darrell Boling threw for 40 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.

Monument Valley's dynamic duo of Delmar and Mitchell proved tough for the Chieftains to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Delmar threw for 303 yards and 5 touchdowns and Mitchell had 132 yards receiving. Xavier Hunt helped Monument Valley's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 75 yards.

The Mustangs' dynamic duo of Delmar and Mitchell proved to be unstoppable against Shiprock, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Delmar put up the best numbers through the air as Monument Valley topped Storm Tallbull's team.

Mitchell was the best receiver in the league this week as Bryan Begay's team bested the Chieftains.

Brandon Nez made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Mustangs defeated Shiprock. The 5-foot-5 senior recorded 2 fumbles.

He was 17-22 with 0 interceptions.

Delano (Tony) Walker was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 179 yards on 13 carries as Window Rock beat the Chieftains. Ron Thompson also contributed to the rushing game with 56 yards on the ground.

Leading IV Section I in both passing and receiving yards, the Mustangs' Delmar and Mitchell have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Delmar has thrown for 778 yards this season, while Mitchell has 18 catches for 371 yards. Walker from the Fighting Scouts leads the league in rushing with 466 yards.

As it stands, the Hornets are in third, while Chinle is in sixth.

Winslow and Round Valley played the closest game in the league this week, with Winslow eventually emerging with a 21-19 victory. James Martinez threw for 146 yards and ran for 13 yards during the win.
