Basketball Game Preview: San Benito Greyhounds vs. Los Fresnos Falcons

The San Benito Greyhounds will face off against the Los Fresnos Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. San Benito will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, San Benito took their game with ease, bagging a 59-19 victory over Hanna. The Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Los Fresnos didn't have too much breathing room in their match against La Joya on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 43-39 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

San Benito has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.2 points. As for Los Fresnos, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

San Benito couldn't quite finish off Los Fresnos when the teams last played back in February of 2024 and fell 33-31. Can San Benito avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
