While Bristol-Plymouth RVT couldn't topple Tri-County RVT on Wednesday, it's impossible to ignore the impact made by underclassman Gabrianna Arrighi. Arrighi wasn't messing around, striking out 13 batters over ten innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. The pitching appearance was her seventh straight with 11 or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Arrighi and Bristol-Plymouth RVT will challenge Diman RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
