Volleyball Recap: Fenwick Comes Up Short

Fenwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Latin Romans. The Friars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Romans from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Fenwick was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23.

Fenwick's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Latin, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-8.

Coming up, Fenwick will head out to square off against DePaul College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Latin, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Antioch on the 26th.
