Volleyball Recap: Luck Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Luck can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Cardinals not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Luck was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-10, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Grace Mattson, who had five digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Mattson wasn't the only good servers: Luck was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Luck's win bumped their record up to 5-26. As for Lac Courte Oreilles, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Looking ahead, Luck will square off against Prairie Farm at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lac Courte Oreilles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
