Volleyball Recap: Acton-Boxborough Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Acton-Boxborough waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Revolution, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Acton-Boxborough walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-21.

Mia Moorman paced Acton-Boxborough's offense, picking up nine kills. Moorman got some help from Player #15 and her 32 assists. Moorman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The win got Acton-Boxborough back to even at 9-9. As for Cambridge Rindge & Latin, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

As of now, neither Acton-Boxborough nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
