Basketball Recap: Baker Takes a Loss

Baker suffered their biggest loss since January 23rd on Saturday. They came up short against the Walton Braves, falling 51-29. The defeat continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Braves: they've now lost four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Baker lost, don't look at Cole Hardin. Despite the final result, he posted six points and five rebounds.

Baker's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Walton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Baker wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-37 victory against Northview on the 19th. As for Walton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-43 defeat against South Walton on the 18th.
