Baseball Recap: Spring Grove Takes a Loss

While it was Spring Grove who put the first runs on the board on Friday, it was Central York who put up more. The Rockets fell 7-4 to the Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Rockets in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Tanner Hoffman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Spring Grove's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-2 (and 3-8-1 when he doesn't).

Spring Grove's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for Central York, their record now sits at 8-9.
