Volleyball Recap: John Marshall Takes a Loss

If John Marshall was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Albert Lea last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockets lost 3-0 to the Mankato West Scarlets on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Rockets in their meetings with the Scarlets: they've now lost five in a row.

John Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Mankato West, they pushed their record up to 7-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

John Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Owatonna on the 25th. As for Mankato West, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Albert Lea on the 25th.
