Soccer Recap: Rocky Mount Takes a Loss

Rocky Mount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Northern Nash Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Rocky Mount of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Rocky Mount's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Northern Nash, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Rocky Mount has already played their next game, a 4-0 win against SouthWest Edgecombe on the 2nd. As for Northern Nash, they will square off against Roanoke Rapids at 6:00 p.m. on the 10th.
