Basketball Game Preview: Chattooga Indians vs. Armuchee Indians

The Chattooga Indians will head out to face off against the Armuchee Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chattooga will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, everything went Chattooga's way against Dade County as Chattooga made off with a 58-37 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Armuchee didn't have too much trouble with Gordon Central on Tuesday as they won 43-24. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while the Warriors are ranked 481st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Armuchee is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points per game. As for Chattooga, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4.

Chattooga didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Armuchee in their previous matchup on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 55-51 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chattooga since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
