Softball Recap: Grand Ledge Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

Grand Ledge proved they can win big last Friday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Williamston Hornets 7-5. The win continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won five in a row.

Grand Ledge pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Williamston, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
