Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is North Vermillion's Ninth in Last 12 Outings

North Vermillion won the last time they faced Crawfordsville, and Cadence Dunham did her part to make sure it happened again. The North Vermillion Falcons were the clear victor by a 45-19 margin over the Crawfordsville Athenians on Tuesday thanks in part to Dunham, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 15 points and five steals. She is becoming a predictor of North Vermillion's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 14-6 (and 1-2 when she doesn't).

The team also got some help courtesy of Nora Thomann, who posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played.

North Vermillion is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Crawfordsville, their loss was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-18.
