Recap: A&M Consolidated Tigers vs. Fulshear Chargers
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the A&M Consolidated Tigers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Fulshear by a score of 31-19. Winning may never get old, but A&M Consolidated sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
A&M Consolidated can attribute much of their success to Trey Taylor, who rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Taylor's longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards. Payton Bjork did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 96 receiving yards.
A&M Consolidated is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Fulshear, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-1.
A&M Consolidated will be playing at home against Cedar Park at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Park is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games. Fulshear does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
