Volleyball Recap: Jackson County Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Jackson County came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Loganville Red Devils. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Red Devils last Tuesday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

While Jackson County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23.

Sophia Parker paced Jackson County's offense, picking up nine kills. Parker got some help from Holly Ann Keefer and her 12 assists. Chloe Wright controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Jackson County's victory bumped their record up to 30-7. As for Loganville, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 28-17.

Loganville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Habersham Central on the 9th. Hopefully Jackson County paid attention to the Red Devils' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
