Armstrong extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 11-9 in the process. Everything went their way against the Iroquois West Raiders as they made off with a 13-3 victory. Considering the Trojans have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Iroquois West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Iroquois West's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordyn Meents, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Armstrong will welcome Seeger at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.33 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Iroquois West, they will face off against Milford at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bearcats have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
