Football Game Preview: Nipmuc Regional Warriors vs. Clinton Gaels + How To Watch

The Nipmuc Regional Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Clinton Gaels at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Nipmuc Regional is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 48 points last Saturday, they were much more limited against Northbridge on Friday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 28-6. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last matchup, Clinton made sure to put some points up on the board against Maynard on Friday. The Gaels took their contest with ease, bagging a 49-6 victory over the Tigers. The Gaels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 29 points or more this season.

Nipmuc Regional better keep an eye on Gavin Naughton. He was instrumental in Clinton's win, rushing for 49 yards and a pair of scores. What's more, Naughton posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

The win was the third in a row for Clinton, bringing their record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.7 points over those games. As for Nipmuc Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
