Football Recap: Western Hills Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Western Hills can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Valley Vikings and fell 46-0. Having soared to a lofty 43 points in the game before, the Wolverines' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Western Hills' loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Western Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley, they will challenge Franklin County at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Flyers' defense has only allowed 12.1 points per game this season, so the Vikings' offense will have their work cut out for them.
