Volleyball Recap: Willow Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

There's no place like home for Willow, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Carver Collegiate Academy Rams on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Willow never let Carver Collegiate Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 26-24, 25-11.

Willow was led to victory by Chloe West and Alana Stevenson. West had ten digs and two assists, while Stevenson had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces Stevenson has posted over her last five matches.

Willow pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Carver Collegiate Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Coming up, Willow will face off against Benjamin Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Carver Collegiate Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Kennedy on the 2nd.
