Softball Recap: Oakland Drops Highest Score of Season Against Eagleville

Oakland won the last time they faced Eagleville and things went their way on Monday too. The Oakland Patriots came out on top against the Eagleville Eagles by a score of 9-5. The Patriots' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jazmyne Watkins was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Chloe Aaron also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Oakland now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Eagleville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Coming up, Oakland will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against DeKalb County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eagleville, they are taking a road trip to face off against Blackman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
