Volleyball Recap: Jamestown Eagles vs. Smithfield Packers

Jamestown extended their postseason success on Saturday against Smithfield. They came out on top against the Smithfield Packers by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jamestown was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 23-25, 25-17, 25-18.

Senah Drazdowski had an outrageously good game as she had eight aces and seven digs. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kira Van Deusen, who had 14 digs.

Jamestown is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10-1 record this season. As for Smithfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-18.

As of now, neither Jamestown nor Smithfield have any future games scheduled.
