Volleyball Recap: Jenison Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Mona Shores typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Jenison proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Sailors with a sharp 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wildcats have posted against the Sailors since October 26, 2019.

Jenison's got stronger as the match went on, holding Mona Shores to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-21, 25-19.

Cora Rotman was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had three digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last nine contests.

Jenison pushed their record up to 26-3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mona Shores, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-12.

The Wildcats will take on Reeths-Puffer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (5 vs. 191). Meanwhile, Mona Shores (ranked 59th) will meet Muskegon (ranked 598th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
