The Mifflin Punchers suffered their biggest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Friday. Their tough 74-49 loss to Beechcroft might stick with them for a while. Mifflin just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Mifflin still got an impressive performance from Tariq Johnson, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Johnson also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Mike Woodyard, who scored eight points along with two steals.

Mifflin's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Beechcroft, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Mifflin won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central Crossing at 3:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Beechcroft, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbus International at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
