Softball Preview: Laton Mustangs vs. McFarland Cougars

Laton is 0-8 against McFarland since April of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Mustangs will challenge the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Laton has given up an average of 16.5 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Laton and Wonderful College Prep Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Mustangs came up short against the Wolves on Tuesday, falling 14-2. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.
