Basketball Game Preview: Cumberland Academy of Georgia Cyclones vs. Atlanta Area School for the Deaf Panthers

The Cumberland Academy of Georgia Cyclones will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Cumberland Academy of Georgia is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 67-45 to Cottage two weeks ago. The loss continues a trend for the Cyclones in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Atlanta Area School for the Deaf had to suffer through a 55-10 loss at the hands of Alabama School for the Deaf.

Cumberland Academy of Georgia came out on top in a nail-biter against Atlanta Area School for the Deaf in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, sneaking past 67-65.
