Elgin won against Elk City on Tuesday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Owls took down the Woodward Boomers 64-48. Winning may never get old, but the Owls sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Elgin's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Woodward, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Elgin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 55-52 victory against Weatherford on the 7th. As for Woodward, they will take on Kingfisher at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
