Softball Game Preview: Christopher Cougars vs. Oak Grove Eagles

Christopher is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Oak Grove a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Christopher Cougars will be playing at home against the Oak Grove Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Christopher managed to slip by Lincoln the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Christopher lost 9-2 to Lincoln on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Cougars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Christopher's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's match. Christopher has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Oak Grove, though, as they've been averaging only 0.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Christopher continue to outrun the ball?
