Even though the Florida Christian Patriots scored an imposing 55 points on Thursday, the Palmetto Panthers still came out on top. Palmetto took down Florida Christian 69-55. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Palmetto also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Palmetto's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Santiago Henriquez, who scored 20 points along with five assists. The match was Henriquez's 17th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Samfree Sarante, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
Palmetto now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Florida Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.
