Prairie strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Briggsdale Falcons by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Prairie had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 26-24, 27-25, 25-21.

Hanna Kugler paced Prairie's offense, picking up 22 kills. Kugler got some help from Nicole Ludgate and her 48 assists. Ludgate was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Prairie's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Briggsdale, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Prairie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Kimball on the 18th. As for Briggsdale, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Peetz on the 19th.
