Basketball Recap: Springer Comes Up Short

Springer lost against Maxwell two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Springer Red Devils fell 68-55 to the Maxwell Bears. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springer's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Maxwell, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wagon Mound the next time they take the court. Springer will head out to face Wagon Mound at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Maxwell will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
