Basketball Game Preview: Many Farms Lobos vs. Wingate Bears

The Many Farms Lobos are taking a road trip to square off against the Wingate Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Many Farms has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Many Farms strolled past Hopi with points to spare, taking the game 50-35.

Meanwhile, Wingate had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Rams by a score of 50-41. While the Bears didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Wingate's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Many Farms, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.

Many Farms skirted past Wingate 65-63 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Does Many Farms have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wingate turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
