Recap: Belleview Rattlers vs. Lake Weir Hurricanes
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Leesburg, the Belleview Rattlers were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 38-16 margin over Lake Weir. That 22 points margin sets a new team best for Belleview this season.
It was another big night for Aaliyah Armbrister, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Belleview's points. Another player making a difference was Briyanna Miles, who scored ten points along with seven steals.
Belleview has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Lake Weir, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing South Sumter the next time they take the court. Belleview will head out to face South Sumter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Lake Weir will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
