Baseball Recap: Savannah Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Savannah's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Park Hill Trojans on Monday. The Savages were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Savannah and nudges their season record down to 10-8. As for Park Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season.

Savannah and Park Hill should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Savages (ranked 94th) will meet East Buchanan (ranked 387th) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Park Hill will take on North Kansas City at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (119 vs. 349).
