Baseball Recap: Lincoln High Comes Up Short

Lincoln High was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Lincoln North Star Navigators, falling 11-1. The Links were not able to make up for their defeat to the Navigators from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Lincoln High saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Holbein, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Holbein hit this season.

Lincoln High's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Lincoln North Star, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lincoln High is set to take on their familiar foe Lincoln Southwest at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lincoln North Star will face off against rival North Platte at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
