Preview: Pullman vs. Clarkston
On Friday Clarkston take on Pullman at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
After a dominant win in their game two weeks ago, Clarkston were humbled last Friday. They fell to West Valley 14-23. Clarkston got a solid performance out of junior Kaeden Frazier, who passed for 247 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Pullman, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They blew past East Valley 34-13. Followers of Pullman probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Pullman's victory lifted them to 4-1 while Clarkston's defeat dropped them down to 2-3. Pullman's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Clarkston defensive front that amassed five sacks against West Valley, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
