Flag Football Recap: North Salinas Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Tuesday just wasn't the day for North Salinas's offense. They were dealt a 56-0 loss at the hands of the North Monterey County Condors on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 719th, while the Condors are ranked 301st).

North Salinas has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for North Monterey County, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Salinas is set to challenge their familiar foe Seaside at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Monterey County will take on rival Pajaro Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Condors 7.1, the Grizzlies 4.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
