Delaware Valley fought the good fight in their overtime  matchup against North Pocono  on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell  28-21 to the Trojans. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
 When it comes to explaining why Delaware Valley lost, don't look at  Michael Iuzzolino. Despite the final result, he rushed for 176 yards and one  touchdown while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. The Warriors also got help from  James Dabney, who showed off his sure hands for 87  receiving yards.
  Cole West was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 208 yards and one  score while picking up 9.9 yards per carry for North Pocono.  Josiah Gray was another key player, rushing for 86 yards and one  TD.
Delaware Valley now  has a losing record of 4-5. As for North Pocono, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  games. Delaware Valley will face off against Scranton at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Warriors will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.89  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Pocono, they will square off against Scranton Prep at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
