Austin is a perfect 9-0 against Clarksville since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will welcome the Generals at 5:30 p.m. Austin will be strutting in after a win while Clarksville will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Austin turned things around against Eastern on Saturday. They never let the Musketeers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Clarksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-4 to Eastern.

Austin's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 5-12. As for Clarksville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Austin took their victory against Clarksville in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-0 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Generals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
