Roosevelt made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Archbishop Hoban, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rough Riders put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rough Riders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Roosevelt not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Archbishop Hoban between 16 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-19.

Roosevelt now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Archbishop Hoban, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Roosevelt is set to face off against their familiar foe Cuyahoga Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Archbishop Hoban will square off against rival St. Edward at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
