For the second straight game, New Brockton will face off against Straughn. The Gamecocks will challenge the Tigers at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. New Brockton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6  runs per game  this season.
New Brockton proved they can win big  on Tuesday (they won by ten) and  on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  9-7  victory over Straughn. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Gamecocks have posted  against the Tigers since April 13, 2017.
  Bryant Crumpler was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2. What's more,  he posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Gavin Hand, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 New Brockton now  has a winning record of 10-9. As for Straughn, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 8-6.
