Cross County won the last time they faced West Memphis and things went their way on Friday too. The Thunderbirds put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 17-1 victory. The Thunderbirds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 13 runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Cross County and bumps their season record up to 7-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for West Memphis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Cross County is taking a road trip to square off against Riverside at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Thunderbirds surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Memphis, they will welcome McGehee at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
